If you’re looking for well-priced holiday cottages in the Peak District, look no further! Staying in the Peak District at Moor Grange Farm gives you the best of the Peak District National Park right on your doorstep. These cottages are the perfect choice for a four-night midweek break at any time of the year.Approaching this traditional Peak District farm is just as you’d expect. You drive along a narrow country road with dry stone walls on either side and vast rolling fields all around. Turn into the long drive way and you arrive at the 16th century farm. Your accommodation is adjacent to the main manor house in the stone barns, which have been converted to create that cosy cottage in the Peak District feel, in a classic courtyard setting.Badger’s Wood is a three bedroom cottage sleeping up to six, whilst Robin’s Nest and Swift’s Retreat both have two bedrooms for up to four people. Robin’s Nest and Badger’s Wood are ‘upside down’ houses, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living space and kitchen up the wrought iron staircase on the first floor. All this means you can make the most of the vaulted high ceilings complete with exposed beams. The decor is very much warm colours with that modern country-style. Pretty much everything you need for a break in the Peak District is there - including a small shared indoor swimming pool and games rooms. Teens will love this, as they can go off and amuse themselves playing table tennis, table football and pool, whilst you get down to the serious business of relaxing in the Peak District countryside setting. For those who want to make the most of all that lovely Peak District fresh air during their stay, Moor Grange farm is well-placed for walks and hikes including the famous Monsal Trail. And if you take a wander into the adjacent village of Taddington, you’ll find a charming little village pub. What’s more, this cluster of holiday cottages in the Peak District is just six miles from the spa town of Buxton in one direction and six miles from the market town of Bakewell in the other - perfect for exploring.
