These packages are a superb way to combine a weekend away in lovely Devon, with lots of hands-on cookery teaching from experts. There are many chef tutors on the books at Ashburton and they have taken different culinary journeys, but one thing unites them all. And that is their love of good cooking.
Over the weekend, you'll spend lots of time in the school's kitchens. It's brilliant to be learning from passionate and motivated chefs. It'll reignite your love of cooking. It'll teach you new things. And it'll introduce you to new flavours and presentation skills too.
All courses are themed and there are lots to choose from. From ‘foundation' courses for those who are just starting to get into cooking at home, to classes that explore more in-depth culinary skills. Whichever course you do, the result is the same. That's to say delicious food!
As well as the two days of teaching, these residential cookery courses include a two night stay on the Friday and Saturday nights. An en suite room in the cookery school's partner B&B will be reserved for you, with a continental breakfast included. There are single and twin/double rooms available in the Grade II listed house.
As well as free wifi, TV, tea and coffee facilities and daily cleaning, you'll also be treated to a lovely continental breakfast. Featuring West country cheeses and hams, with free-range organic eggs cooked however you like them, it's a great way to start your day.
