What Can I Expect

Looking to go glamping in London? Book a cabin break at Edmonton or Sewardstone in lovely Lee Valley! With easy access to London and everything the capital has to offer, plus the tranquility of the countryside, these two campsites are the perfect choice for a cabin break for up to four people.

Ideal for families, cabins offer a double and single bed combination bunk bed, with a foldaway single camp bed too, so each cabin can easily sleep a family of two adults and two children.

And whilst it's not all about mod-cons and luxury gadgets here (you need to bring your own bedding/linen), these Lee Valley wooden cabins do offer the essentials you need for a nice weekend away. There's a fridge, a single hotplate, a microwave and a kettle, along with crockery and cutlery, so you can reheat and prepare simple meals to keep your clan cosy and happy (or just order food in using your favourite food delivery app!).

What really sets these two camping sites apart is their proximity to London. The Edmonton site is on a direct bus route to Edmonton train station, making it a 30-minute hop on public transport in or out of the capital. The Sewardstone site near Chingford is set deeper into the woodlands, but still only a few minutes from London's orbital M25 motorway.

Once you're checked in and settled in your cabin, it's time to explore. The whole point of camping is to step away from everyday life filled with social media (although there is free wifi at both sites!) and discover cool stuff.

Activities on site or nearby include FootGolf, golf, ice rink and indoor athletics and even an onsite cinema at Edmonton. At Sewardstone you're adjacent to the Lee Valley White Water Centre and the boating centre. And both offer access to the huge River Lee Country Park with miles of trails and cycle paths for you to discover.
