What Can I Expect
Mingle with the suspects as you play detective on a luxury murder mystery weekend for two! See if you can hone your super sleuthing skills and work out who did the heinous crime when you check-in for your overnight stay at the hotel.
It all starts on Saturday afternoon over a nice cream tea. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled as there could be clues all around you and listen carefully as the suspects are in amongst you. Someone has a guilty secret to hide…
Then in the evening you reconvene for dinner. In just a single night a lot can happen. There'll be at least two murders, lots of mystery and rather a lot of suspicious looking characters hanging around. These murder mystery weekends are classic whodunnits. Will you be able to sort the lies from the truths? Can you see through a false alibi? Can you spot a shifty facial expression when you see one? And of course, trust no-one. After all, the person sitting next to you in the hotel bar could well be the murderer.
Will you be a bit of a rough diamond detective like Taggart when you discover the 'muurdhhhr'? Are you more akin to the affable John Barnaby of Midsommer fame? Perhaps you're all about analysing the finest details like the Silent Witness team? Maybe you'll be as sullen as Morse, or perhaps as utterly mesmerising as Luther? Whatever your style, you have just one night to solve this murder mystery case as all will be revealed after breakfast on Sunday morning.
As you're staying for the weekend, you'll have plenty of time to examine the evidence on show and study the clues. Take time to interrogate the murder witnesses and suspects to see if you can work out who the mysterious perpetrator is - and also the motive that drove them to commit the crime.
Make no mistake, a murder mystery weekend isn't like going to see a play on the stage. The action is all around you and from the moment you arrive at the hotel, the plot starts to unfold. All the characters involved are played by professional actors, but don't worry, you won't be expected to put in an Oscar-winning performance, this is all about you observing what's happening to see if you can get to the bottom of the mystery.
