What Can I Expect
Enjoy a whisky blending experience in Kent at the home of Masthouse Whisky! Spend a fantastic couple of hours in historic Chatham Dockyard tasting and blending the in-house produced whiskies.
If you’re a whisky lover, these very comprehensive experiences in Kent are for you. You’ll be visiting the distillery, where the dedicated Russell family produce their Masthouse whiskies from ‘grain to glass’.
As you tour the Copper Rivet Distillery, you’ll learn all about the history of the business, as well as the role of the imposing Pumphouse building in Chatham Dockyard overlooking the River Medway, which was the beating heart of industrial Kent.
Keeping things authentic, local and innovative is the ethos behind Masthouse Whisky, which uses locally grown Kentish grains to make their distinctive whisky that has been lovingly matured and carefully blended.
And indeed, it’s a tricky business blending whisky, as you’ll find out when you get to do it yourself. Surrounded by glasses, pipettes and phials, it’s more like alchemy. Let’s see how close you get to Copper Rivet’s best-selling Masthouse blend!
