Area 1

What Can I Expect
Private balloon rides in the South West of England - exclusive ballooning just for you! We are offering vouchers for two, three or four people to enjoy a balloon experience together.
With an expert balloon pilot and crew as your hosts for these very special rides, you will feel like VIP passengers from the moment you arrive at the launch site, to when you celebrate your landing with a glass of Champagne.
This operator has access to launch sites all over the South West, so from Bristol and Bath, to Wells and Wedmore, there’s bound to be a location near you for your hot air balloon ride. Of course, the weather plays a huge part and the pilot will pick the best site to take off from according to the conditions, usually within your chosen area.
These private experiences are great, as it’s just you and your group. You’ll be in a rather snazzy sports balloon, which has a smaller basket, making for a nice cosy experience for you.
What’s more, if you want to help out with unpacking and inflating the balloon, you are more than welcome to do so. Once you’re in the basket and the burner has done its thing, the grounds crew will release the ropes and away you go!
As this balloon operator covers most of the South West, you could be seeing anything from coast and countryside, to cities and market towns. And of course, the wind is the one that’ll be taking you, so it’ll be a real adventure for you all.
Back on the ground after your one-hour flight, you can once again get hands-on and help pack the balloon away if you fancy. You’ll then return to the launch site and celebrate with a glass of Champagne.

- Weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- During summer months evening flights are generally scheduled on weekdays with morning and evening flights available on weekends
- Winter flying can be more restricted due to unsettled weather conditions
- Meet just after sunrise (can be pretty early mid summer!)or a few hours before sunset. Timings change as the length of the day changes

- It is possible to request a preferred site but if the weather conditions are not suitable you may need to move to another site within that area
- Specific launch sites are selected dependent on wind directions on the day
Suitable For
- Minimum age 6
- Under 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Minimum height 4ft
- Please advise if any passengers are over 17st (108kg)
- Participants must have a good level of fitness and be agile enough to get in and out of the basket
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to watch your departure with great photo opportunities
