What Can I Expect

Young farmer fun in Nottinghamshire with these junior tractor drives just for youngsters aged 13 to 17. We are offering vouchers for Taster, Explorer and Advanced junior tractor driving, giving teens 15, 30 and 60 minutes of drive time respectively in a proper tractor, under the watchful eye of an instructor.

The Tournament Ground is a great place for these junior sessions, as it’s all private land that’s away from the roads. As well as the purpose-built tractor trails, there are fields that might well need ploughing, or seeding depending on the time of year!

The tractor your teenager could be driving is a full-size workhorse of the agricultural world. The operator uses Massy Ferguson and McCormick equipment and both manufacturers boast powerful machines that can multitask.

So, even on the Taster session once the youngsters have mastered the controls, there should be time for a little drive out onto the tractor circuit. On the Explorer you get longer at the wheel to practice your new farmer moves. And on the Advanced you might even get to work in the field.

If only junior tractor driving experiences like these in Nottinghamshire existed when we were young! We reckon these vouchers make a superb gift for any teenager - after all, who wouldn’t want to have a go in a tractor?
