At first, my wife was very wary of the archery lesson as it took place very close to clay pigeon/pistol shooting. The instructor and reception staff were extremely helpful, even finding earplugs or ear defenders for her. Our instructor was very helpful and encouraging throughout, he had a lot of patience and a good sense of humour! By the end of the lesson, we had both improved dramatically and felt a real sense of achievement. The setting itself at Coniston Hotel near Skipton was beautiful and we would highly recommend it.
