What's Included

- Reach speeds of up to 70mph
- Travel on over 1.5km of zip lines with two to conquer 'Alpha' and 'Bravo'
- Each zip zone consists of 4 parallel zip lines
- After a short safety briefing you'll get kitted up into your harness, goggles and helmet
- Travel via minibus to the top of the mountain for Alpha
- Once you've dismounted from Alpha its a short walk to Bravo
- Experiences take up to two hours to complete
What Can I Expect
Take on the Zip World Phoenix - the world’s longest seated zip line ride! If you’re at least 1.2 metres tall you can ride Alpha and Bravo, the two incredible zip lines criss-crossing the stunning Rhigos mountain in South Wales.
Located at the former Tower Colliery near Aberdare (Wales’s last deep mine), this is a truly remarkable location where post-industrial heritage meets the stunning natural backdrop, with a serious dose of adrenaline thrown in!
Kitted out in helmet, goggles and zip harness, you’ll be taken by minibus to the top of the Rhigos mountain, with sweeping views across the Llyn Fawr reservoir, the colliery (now Zip World’s basecamp) and beyond.
Four riders will be released from the top tower simultaneously. Zipping down over the mountain face and the lake, you’ll reach speeds of up to 50 mph as you travel the 920 metre-long Alpha zip.
After just enough time to catch your breath and take in what you’ve just achieved, it’s time to head over to Bravo zip and do it all over again! This time the line is a little shorter, but you still ride side-by-side and you’ll be hitting a top speed of around 70 mph - (good job there are no speed cameras!) - and that's the world's fastest seated zip ride!

- Spectators are welcome but can only watch from the reception base

- Option to pre-book head-cam footage to capture and re-live the adventure for an additional charge payable when booking your date
- If this experience is postponed due to adverse weather conditions, you will be able to reschedule within 12 months but won't be entitled to a refund
