Nothing is more inspirational than meeting people who are super passionate about their jobs. Making wine in the UK isn’t easy and requires a lot of dedication and hard work, which (literally) makes the fruits of their labour even more delicious.

You will love wandering around the vines, seeing where the grapes go (or apples in the case of cider) and what happens, right to the bottling and labelling process at the end. It’s utterly fascinating stuff and you will learn lots from knowledgeable people.

Of course, no winery visit would be complete without a tasting, so you will get to sample some of the finest sparkling, white, red and rosé wines as well as ciders being hand-crafted in the UK right now.

These vineyards and orchards are in wonderful settings too, so sitting down in the winery’s restaurant or café eating some great food is the perfect way to round off the day you both went on a winery tour with tasting and dining!
