What Can I Expect

Feline fun on the Wild Cat Experience when you get to help with the Crazy Cat Breakfast time at Hoo Zoo Wildlife Park near Telford in Shropshire! During this early morning experience, you will assist the expert keepers in feeding up to four of the zoo’s stunning species of wild cat.

Hoo Zoo is home to the likes of the agile Serval, the fierce Bobcat, the majestic Eurasian Lynx, the mysterious Jungle Cat, the tiny but fearless Rusty-Spotted Cat and the powerful Caracal. Each very much has its own character, but they are most definitely the wilder cousins to your beloved cats at home!

Under the guidance of the keepers, you’ll have the chance to tong-feed these beautiful predators through the safety of a fence, while learning fascinating facts about their behaviour, diet, and natural habitats. Your dedicated keeper will stay with you throughout, ensuring a safe and enjoyable encounter for both you and the cats.

Group numbers are limited to four, in order to ensure plenty of personal interaction with the wild cats and lots of incredible photo opportunities too.

After your Crazy Cat Breakfast experience, you are welcome to stay at the park, where you can continue your wild day by exploring the rest of the zoo and meeting even more amazing animals.

The wild cat feeding experiences offer a rare chance to feed some of the most beautiful cats beyond the catflap of their domesticated relatives!
