What Can I Expect

Surrounded by sheep and cattle, Scart Farm occupies a lovely spot just outside the Bridge of Weir. It's classic Scottish countryside, with rolling hills and fields bordering on the River Gryfe. No time for sightseeing though, you're there to do a job. And that job is driving the JCB tractor!

The Fastrac 4220 is the ultimate in tractors. Every farmer needs a tractor and this JCB one is one of the best. Greater speed, more comfort (inside the cab is amazing!), increased productivity, safety and versatility. That's what this tractor is all about.

Amazingly, this tractor is road legal as well. With its 235bhp engine and huge 950Nm of torque, the JCB will quite happily bounce along at around 40mph. It's the stuff of farmer dreams!

So now it's your turn to give tractor driving in the JCB a go. It's totally different inside the cab to a typical car, so you'll spend a few minutes with your host being shown the basic controls and getting settled in that very comfy seat.

Then you're off. Up hills, down hills, through mud, puddles and rutted fields, this JCB Fastrac 4220 proves it's all the tractor you'd ever need down on the farm.

And indeed, you are on a fully working farm, so if you're up for it then there are things to do. It could be moving bags of animal feed, shifting bales or loading and unloading goods and materials. All part of a typical day in the life of a Renfrewshire farmer.
