What Can I Expect

Fancy some coastal paddleboarding and snorkelling in Newquay? These experiences combine the two, to give you a blissful few hours out on the clear blue sea and in it too!

The meeting point for these sessions is at the outdoor centre's base in the heart of Newquay. It is literally a pebble's throw away from Towan beach, but your paddle and snorkel session will take you somewhere a little further off the beaten track..

The lovely people who run the school know their stuff and they know all the best spots for paddleboarding on the ocean and for doing a bit of snorkelling too. They will guide you along the coastal path and down through the rocks to the semi-secret cove. 

And don't worry, you won't be lugging snorkelling gear and a massive paddleboard and paddle with you, you'll find all the gear for your coastal adventure is waiting for you inside the cove.

Time to get kitted up and out on those crystal waters. Lying, kneeling or standing, it's totally up to you how you paddle. Your guides are on hand to help with technique and stuff, so if you fancy it, you might progress to standing up and paddling. Whichever way you do it, the surroundings and views will blow you away. It's just so gorgeous - and quiet!

Just imagine paddling around parts of the coast around Newquay that are only accessible by water. And then stopping to have a look at what's happening under the water when you go snorkelling. Nothing hectic, just a surface swim with the snorkel above the water line. The water is so clear you can see so much!
