What Can I Expect
Skywire Zipline Bluewater - ride England’s fastest and longest zipwire! Whizz over the lakes and chalk cliffs that surround the famous Kent shopping centre on these thrilling experiences.
Operated by Hangloose Adventure, these zip wire experiences will literally show you a whole new side to Bluewater. And as long as you’re within the minimum and maximum weight range (35 to 120kgs) and at least 8 years old, you can ride the Skywire.
A minibus will transport you and your fellow zipliners up to the launch site, which is a series of platforms built above the tree canopies. Once kitted up and in position lying on your stomach on the board of one of the several launch pads, you’re ready…
Launching off like a bird in the sky, you’re riding head first down the wire. As you gather some considerable speed, you’ll whizz past those imposing chalk cliffs and over the freshwater lake for thrills with views included!
The Bluewater zipwire sure isn’t for the faint-hearted, as you could reach speeds of up to 50 mph. Of course, it’s totally normal to feel a little nervous before you set off, but the instructors are all really good at putting you at ease.
And let’s face it, by the time you’ve come to a halt at the bottom and been un-clipped from the line, that sense of achievement and euphoria takes over and you’ll be wanting to do Bluewater’s zipline all over again!

Suitable For
- Minimum age 8
- Please Note: Children under 10 years old, may be too light for the activities. We recommend you weigh them before booking
- All participants under 16 must have a parent or guardian (over 18) onsite.
- A ratio of 1 adult to 4 children under 12 years old is required
- Minimum weight 35kg/5 stone 7lb
- Maximum weight 120kg / 18 stone 12 lb
- Not suitable during pregnancy or for those with neck, back or shoulder injuries, epilepsy or heart conditions
