What Can I Expect
Fly the UK’s first outdoor skydiving machine at Hangloose in Bluewater, Kent! This is open-air skydiving - a unique way to experience that free fall feeling outside.
We think this outdoor skydive machine is brilliant. It brings a whole new dimension to simulated high-speed freefall, as you lift off the ground to float beneath the open sky. It really is an amazing sensation!
All outdoor flyers will be kitted up in a suit, with helmet and goggles. Instructors are with you on the machine at all times, keeping you safe whilst you feel the rush. And rest-assured, it’s impossible to fly beyond the netting or safety cushions, as the wind flow keeps you in a controlled column of air!
There’s a good-sized spectator area too, so friends and family can watch and take photos, whilst you learn to ride the air, manoeuvre and maybe even try and smile for the cameras (it’s not easy!).
After you’ve all had your go, you might, if you’re lucky, be treated to a little outdoor skydive display by your instructor, who’ll show you some of the seriously cool aerial tricks you can do in this open-air wind tunnel!
These outdoor skydive vouchers give you one flight lasting around two minutes, which is the equivalent to the freefall time on three actual skydives from a plane. When you go skydiving at Bluewater it’s all the thrills without the altitude!

Suitable For
- Minimum age 4
- Weight restrictions: minimum 20kg, maximum 120kg
- All participants under 16 must have a parent or guardian (over 18) onsite.
- A ratio of 1 adult to 4 children under 12 years old is required
- Not suitable during pregnancy or for those with neck, back or shoulder injuries, epilepsy or heart conditions
- Contact your doctor if you unsure about the suitability for this experience
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome
- Take a phone or camera to the viewing area for some great photo opportunities
Anything Else
- Comfortable clothing should be worn. You will be wearing a flight suit over your clothes so avoid anything bulky
- Secure footwear should be worn - no loose shoes that could fly off
- Long hair must be tied back
