The very lovely Escrick Park Estate is the destination for these carriage rides for the two of you. Covering over 8000 acres in total, the estate boasts 250-acres of private woodland, which is interlaced with over six miles of private rideways.

Experienced coachman Gordon and his horses will lead the way, whilst you get cosy in the horse-drawn carriage, ready for a picturesque ride around this stunning private estate. With wild deer and birds of prey, it’s an idyllic setting in the Yorkshire countryside and we think you’ll love it.

As you clip-clop along the tracks and trails, sit back, relax and drink in the scenery around you. It’s so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of built up areas and you’ll appreciate how countrified it all is.

In the balmy summer months and open carriage will be used and on less clement days, a closed carriage is available. With lots of fluffy blankets, cushions and even hot water bottles, you two will feel as snug as a bug in a rug if your carriage ride is in autumn or winter.

You have the choice of taking your picnic in the carriage with you, or sitting down in the estate's farmhouse-style tea rooms after your ride to enjoy your picnic goodies.
