What Can I Expect
Ride the ‘Rocket Rebel’ on the Thames - London’s biggest and fastest speedboat on the river! This high-speed, high-capacity boat offers the ultimate London river adventure.
The top-spec speedboat can carry up to 26 passengers, making it the ideal boat for all group sizes, from couple and families, right up to work outings and group celebrations, there’s room for you all onboard!
'Rocket Rebel' is a proper head-turner of a boat. You can’t miss that big, bold bright red livery, great crew and high-spec onboard sound system. You know it’s going to be quite some ride.
Setting off from the London Eye Pier on the South Bank, you rocket rebellers will be welcomed aboard by the crew. You will then head off along the Thames for your 50-minute sightseeing adventure.
As soon as you pass under the iconic Tower Bridge, the skipper will open the throttle to show you just what the 'Rocket Rebel' can do. Those 880bhp, double-jet propelled engines will boost you along the river at speeds of up to 35mph.
With the tunes blasting out, you’ll feel like a proper Thames rebel and you’ll love the quick-wit of your onboard host, who really knows how to work a crowd.
By the time you disembark back at the London Eye Pier, you’ll still be feeling all the exhilaration of your thrilling 'Rocket Rebel' speedboat adventure along the Thames!

Suitable For
- There are no age or weight restrictions
- Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult
- Participants will need to be able to climb onboard and sit on an individual seat for the duration of the trip
- All boats can experience unpredictable movements that can aggravate existing medical conditions
- Not suitable for passengers with heart problems, current or historical neck or back problems
- Without exception pregnant passengers CANNOT travel
- Whilst Thames Rockets are unable to take wheelchairs actually on-board, guests can travel with their carers assistance to board the vessel and down steps into the seating area. Guests must be able to sit unaided once onboard
- Child tickets are valid for aged 14 and under
- Adult tickets are valid for ages 15 +
Spectators
- Spectators are welcome to watch the speedboat depart / arrive
Anything Else
- This experience is not suitable for disabled passengers
- There is no facility to store wheelchairs, mobility scooters or buggies
- You are advised to wear sensible clothing bearing in mind it is usually cooler out on the river
- Flat soled shoes are recommended
