What Can I Expect
River Tummel rafting! Prepare yourself for one of the most technical and technical white water challenges in Scotland.
Your adventure begins at the Clunie Power Station meeting point, where you'll meet your expert guides and get kitted out. You will be provided with a wetsuit, helmet, and buoyancy aid to ensure you stay safe and warm.
The River Tummel is famous for its consistent action, thanks to regular dam releases throughout the summer months. This ensures a high-energy ride filled with big splashes and narrow shoots every single weekend.
As you navigate the river, you'll encounter constant Grade 3 rapids that require real teamwork to conquer. Your guide will be in the raft with you, giving instructions as you paddle through the churning white water.
The absolute highlight of the trip is the legendary Linn of Tummel. Here, you will face a dramatic 18-foot double-drop waterfall that provides an incredible adrenaline spike.
It is a truly technical descent that will push your limits and leave you with some fantastic memories. The technical nature of the river makes it a firm favourite for those who have tried rafting before and want something more intense.
The entire experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours, providing a non-stop rush from start to finish. Once you've conquered the falls, transport is waiting to take you back to your dry clothes.
