What Can I Expect

The joy of a retro road trip and picnic! Norfolk's leading vintage car rental company has created these delightful packages for two, to ensure you have a thoroughly lovely day out driving around this beautiful, unspoilt and somewhat undiscovered part of the country.

The formula for these road trips with picnic is pretty straight forward. The voucher you buy today is valid for 12 months, so you've got plenty of time to get organised with a date. You then have the task of choosing which of the plentiful selection of retro motors you'd like to drive.

When the big day comes, the friendly hire team will show you around your car. They will also make sure that the traditional wicker picnic basket filled with sweet and savoury gourmet treats is loaded into the car.

And away you go. Time to explore the local area in your true beauty of a car. Don't be surprised if your vehicle garners appreciative looks, smiles and even waves as you cruise on by. It seems everyone loves a bit of retro!

All that driving will begin to make you rather peckish, so find a good place to stop (the hire team has some excellent suggestions and tips they will pass on), roll out the rug and get picnicking.

If you want to boast the opulence and romance on your retro road trip, the Luxury picnic option is a must-do. Availability

• Weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to availability
• Car collection between 10am to 12pm
• Car drop off between 4pm to 7pm

Suitable For

• Drivers:  Minimum age 25, maximum age 75
• You must be in good health and be fit to drive with no medical conditions delcared with the DVLA
• Drivers must provide a full UK drivers license which has been held for a minimum of two years with no more than 6 penalty points and no more than 1 insurance claim within the past 3 years
• A DVLA check for insurance purposes will be required by the experience provider when making your booking
• Dietary requirements can be catered for, please make these known when making your booking

Anything Else

• Car hire is set to 150 miles a day
• Upon returning your hire car, it needs to be refuelled to the agreed fuel reading which is provided when you collect the car
• An optional damage waiver can be purchased directly from the experience provider for £25, if this is not purchased a block will be applied to your card and this will be removed once the car is returned in the same condition as when it was collected. Please note that the damage waiver is included for the Luxury Picnic Package
