What Can I Expect
Padel lessons for all levels of padel players! We’ve teamed up with the best centres around the UK to offer padel tennis taster sessions near you.
Each lesson is served (‘scuse the pun!) on a one-to-one basis, so you’re getting private tuition from an expert padel coach. The court will be all yours for an hour, giving you plenty of time to work on your game.
If you're new to padel, these lessons will teach you the basics, the rules and some gameplay tips, putting you on the right path to take up padel as a hobby. And you won’t be alone, Padel is currently the UK’s fastest-growing sport.
If you’re wondering what the difference is between padel and tennis, here’s the lowdown. With padel you serve underarm (so unlike tennis, serving is easy!) and play with a short-handled ‘paddle’ racquet, which has holes rather than strings.
Padel courts are a lot smaller than tennis courts, so there’s less running around, but the main difference is the walls. A bit like in squash, in padel you can play the ball as it bounces off the glass walls.
In essence, padel is easier to learn than tennis, but hard to master. So if you’re already a padel fan, your 60-minute coaching session could be all about mastering the angles, reading the rebound and tactics!
