What Can I Expect
The Notting Hill tour is a great way to get an insider's view on this trendy urban village. You'll see favourite filming locations from the rom coms Notting Hill and Love Actually and the tour takes you to celeb houses and urban art spots too.
These two-hour tours are on foot, concentrating on the area of Notting Hill around Westbourne Park Road and Ladbroke Road. There's lots to see, including the bookshop run by William and the most famous blue door ever…
Yes, that door. The iconic blue front door was the entrance to floppy-haired Will's studio flat. In real life, far from being a poky apartment, the door led to the rather plush London abode of film writer and director Richard Curtis, the man behind many romantic comedy hits.
The original door was auctioned off for charity, but the replacement is a very satisfying blue colour too, thank goodness!
Another must-see on this Notting Hill tour is the Portobello Road market. The area is buzzing with trendy coffee shops, street musicians, spice shops and restaurants serving dishes from around the world. There's even a Banksy piece of street art to see!
And did you know there are recording studios where legendary tracks have been made in Notting Hill? Then there are the infamous hotels favoured by the celebs. You'll see all these and more as part of your tour. You will even be shown the homes or former homes of various celebrity types.
All tours give you plenty of time to stop and take selfies in front of all these notable buildings and film locations. Book your place on the Notting Hill walking tour and go beyond the usual tourist trail.
