What Can I Expect

The Nationwide Paddlesports Choice - our most flexible paddle voucher for two! You can use this voucher for canoeing, kayaking or paddleboarding at the location of your choice from loads around the UK.

One voucher, three sports and shed loads of venues. We’re rather proud of this paddlesports choice voucher. It’s the perfect gift for adventurous types who are always up for trying something new - and it can be done close to home, or in a setting perfect for a weekend break.

Itineraries and programmes will vary from venue to venue, but rest assured, you’ll have plenty of time out on the water. Some venues are in-land lakes with top-notch facilities, there are peaceful paddles out on gently flowing rivers and even manmade water sports centres where the water debit is controlled.

Of course, all gear and tuition is included in the cost of your voucher for two. There are various types of canoes and kayaks available and the one most suited to you and where you will paddling will be chosen. With the paddleboards, beginner boards are surprisingly rigid and stable. A paddle adapted to your size will be given to you as well.

As well as learning the basic techniques (getting in and out of your vessel, moving forwards, backwards and turning) there may be time for some exploring and even some fun paddle games and challenges.

And remember, there’s no need to pick the sport and location now, the lucky person being gifted this voucher can decide!

Suitable For

• Under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult at all venues
• A good general level of fitness is required
