Drift Thrill

  • 10 minute session behind the wheel learning the basics of drifting and getting to grips with the drift car and track
  • Techniques include: Power sliding, counter-steering, weight transfer, throttle balance and direction changing, handbrake initiation, how to extend a drift, quick direction changes, smooth exit from drifting, 3 tries on a more demanding course
  • Demonstration lap
  • Allow approximately 1.5 hours on site for this experience


Half Day Drifting

  • Approximately 5 minutes behind the wheel learning the basics of drifting
  • Techniques include: Power sliding, counter-steering, weight transfer, throttle balance and direction changing
  • Demonstration lap of the second course
  • Session two with a further 10 minutes behind the wheel getting to grips with the drift car and track
  • Techniques include: Handbrake initiation, how to extend a drift, quick direction changes, smooth exit from drifting, 3 tries on a more demanding course
  • Session three with a further 10 minutes drive time
  • Techniques include: Weight transfer initiation, clutch kicking, shift lock initiation, use of more gears, faster speeds, extend and contract your drifting line using 'clipping zones' as reference points
  • Five minute passenger ride driven by your instructor, drifting around the pro course
  • Total drive time of around 25 minutes
  • Allow approximately 3 hours on site for this experience

What Can I Expect

Looking for a thrilling drifting experience near you? We've got the answer, with a full range of drift sessions at a selection of tracks around the UK. If you've seen the sort of slides these cars can do, you know it's going to be a lot of fun out there.

You will be driving a full-prepped drift car from the drifting fleet. It won't be a super flash supercar, as these don't make the grade when it comes to drifting. What you want is a good, solid sporty saloon. Something like a Nissan 350Z or similar. A car like this is ideal for newcomers to the art of drifting. That's because they are front-engined, with manual transmission and, most importantly of all, rear wheel drive.

All that means these cars love to go sliding sideways around those bends. It just needs you, as the driver, to be shown how to do it. Get the set up into the corner just right in terms of which gear you're in and your speed, then with some skilled steering and throttle control, you'll be drifting that corner in style.

We are offering two drift session options for you. The Thrill gives you an idea of what drifting is all about with time behind the wheel to perfect your technique. The Half-day is the creme-de-la-creme, with three separate driving sessions. That means there's loads of time to get to grips with things like clipping zones, handbrake skills and Scandinavian flicks, running across three hours.

We've got several track venues lined up for you around the country, so there's bound to be a place to go drifting that's near you. What's more, you don't have to specify on buying the voucher from us which location you want. Flexible, fun and full of different options, that's our nationwide drifting for you!

Suitable For

  • Minimum age is 17
  • You must hold a full driving licence and take it with you on the day
  • Minimum height is 5ft
  • Maximum height is 6'4'

Spectators

  • Spectators are welcome to attend
  • There are pay on the day activities for spectators to enjoy

Anything Else

      • Optional Collision Waiver Indemnity is available to purchase at the venue at an extra charge
      • Food and refreshments are available to purchase on site
      • Participants must arrive one hour before their session start time
