Please note: Whilst our animals are generally very friendly and may choose to approach or climb onto participants, all interactions are entirely dependent on their behaviour, welfare and willingness to participate. We cannot guarantee particular animals or specific physical interactions, such as stroking, cuddling or handling.
What Can I Expect
Discover the fascinating world of meerkats and lemurs with a memorable animal encounter at this much-loved animal park in Telford!
Get up close to the adorable meerkats as you enjoy the opportunity to hand-feed them, observe their curious personalities and learn all about their behaviour, natural history and lifestyle. These charming little animals are full of character, and you may even find one choosing to approach or climb onto you as you spend time in their company.
If you choose the Meerkat and Lemur Experience, your adventure continues with the chance to meet and help feed one of the park’s three lemur species: ring-tailed, black-and-white ruffed or collared brown lemurs. The species you meet will vary, making each encounter a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these fascinating animals and their individual characteristics.
Throughout the experience, you’ll be accompanied by an experienced keeper who will share their knowledge of the animals, their natural habitats and how they are cared for. All interactions take place at the animals’ discretion, with their welfare and willingness to participate always coming first.
Whether you’re fascinated by the meerkats’ cheeky personalities or captivated by the lemurs’ distinctive appearance, these engaging animal experiences offer a fantastic opportunity to learn more about some truly special creatures and enjoy an unforgettable encounter.

What to Wear:
- Full-length trousers covering the ankles must be worn. Leggings and tights are not permitted
- Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn. Sandals and Crocs are not permitted
- Suitable clothing for the weather is essential, as the experience takes place outdoors
