What Can I Expect
Chinese street food puzzle game with FoodEscapes! Embark on a flavour-filled journey through Manchester’s most vibrant streets to find hidden culinary treasures. This immersive adventure turns the city into your playground, using your smartphone as the guide. You’ll receive clues via WhatsApp that lead you through the architecture and history of the Gay Village towards Chinatown.
As you solve each riddle, you’ll unlock the location of three independent restaurants serving bold, authentic dishes. These aren't your typical takeaway treats; expect heritage recipes and stories straight from the kitchens. The game is timed for those who love a bit of competition, though the clock pauses when you reach each food stop. This gives you plenty of time to sit back, relax, and savour every bite without rushing.
You don't need to download any apps, just make sure your phone is fully charged before you set off. If a puzzle proves particularly tricky, you can always ask for a hint to keep the adventure moving. The route covers roughly 2.5 to 3 hours of exploration, making it a brilliant way to see the city in a new light.
