What Can I Expect
Adrenaline fuelled kids quad biking in Newcastle! This exciting quad session is totally geared towards children aged six to 15 years old. They'll be whizzing around the purpose-built dirt track just outside the centre of Newcastle in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.
Keen teens will be riding 90cc Honda machines with more power for those off road challenges, whilst younger kids are on 50cc engine Yamaha quad bikes. All quads are fully automatic and super easy to control.
After a safety briefing conducted by one of the fully qualified quad biking instructors, each junior racer will take to the field on their very own mini quad. Riders will be taught the basics for these nimble machines, before they're let loose in the lush countryside. And remember, the instructors will be keeping a watchful eye on kids throughout the day.
The little adrenaline junkies will find themselves attacking super fast straights, addressing some very tight turns and tackling plenty of obstacles to put their newly learnt quad skills to the ultimate test. And yes, if it's rained recently, they're going to get muddy, so don't forget to bring a change of clothes.
We think these quad sessions make for a birthday party like no other for the younger kids and a real treat for teens too. Kid, tween or teen, they all love negotiating the woodland, streams, mounds, jumps, hills and much, much more on this extensive site.
And parents love the location of these kids' quad biking sessions in Newcastle - at the outdoor pursuits centre in the grounds of the rather lovely Slaley Hall Hotel. It's time quad bike, kiddos!
