What Can I Expect

Junior Karting at K1 Speed London! Get behind the wheel for an electric racing experience at one of the world's premier indoor tracks.

Your journey begins at the impressive Canary Wharf venue where you'll check in at reception. It is best to arrive at least 45 minutes before your slot to get settled in.

Safety is the top priority, so you’ll head straight into a professional briefing led by expert Race Directors. They will guide you through the controls and track rules to ensure everyone has a blast.

Helmets are provided, so once you’re ready, you’ll head straight to the pit lane. The karts are 100% electric and are restricted for the junior driver's safety, keeping Mum and Dads mind at ease.

You will enjoy two separate 15-minute sessions out on the professionally designed circuit. Feel the adrenaline as you navigate the twists and turns to set your best lap time.

After each race, you'll receive a printed timesheet to see exactly how you performed. It’s the perfect way to track your progress and compare speeds with your fellow racers.

Once the racing is done, you can head over to the onsite cafe for refreshments. Parents can relax in the bar area while spectators watch all the action for free.

This is a fantastic introduction to motorsport for any young driver aged 7 to 13. Expect a high-octane atmosphere that makes every junior racer feel like a pro.

When Is It Available

• Vouchers are valid for use Monday to Friday and on Sundays
• All Bank Holidays and Saturdays are excluded
• Please ensure you arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled start time to check in

Opening Times *

• Monday-Thursday: 12:00-21:00
• Friday: 12:00-22:00
• Sunday: 09:00-21:00

* Please note that junior races conclude daily at 17:00

Suitable For

• Suitable for juniors aged between 7 and 13 years old
• Drivers must be at least 122cm tall
• Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to watch the racing free of charge

Anything Else

• Onsite cafe and fully stocked bar. The menu includes burgers, pizza, wings, and nachos
• All drivers must wear closed-toe shoes at K1 Speed. Sandals or any other open-toe shoes are not permitted on the track
• Loose-flowing garments such as dresses or skirts should not be worn. It is recommended you dress casually in a T-shirt and trousers 
• All loose items must be removed including head scarves, scarves, jewellery, and long hair must be securely tied up. Hoodies are not permitted. 
• All drivers will be required to purchase a driver pack which in includes a balaclava and gloves at £6 per pack. Alternatively, drivers can provide their own.
