What Can I Expect

Climb the walls (literally!) when you go indoor bouldering in Essex! Bouldering is a great sport to get into and these bargain deals will get you started so you can have fun climbing at this indoor centre near Romford.

What is bouldering? It's like climbing, but without the ropes and harness. Indoor bouldering is brilliant because it means you can boulder in any weather and it's really safe as there are thick, squishy, high-impact mats under you.

And like sport climbing, routes are created using special climbing holds fixed to walls at all different angles. All routes are graded, so you pick one at your chosen level and climb. If you are wondering what you do when you reach the last hold? Well, you simply let go and drop off onto the mat below (kids - and adults - love this bit!).
