What's Included

HGV & Supercar Experiences

  • Approximately 15-20 minutes at the controls including a short in cab briefing
  • You will also drive one supercar of your choice for a three mile blast
  • Please allow between 3-5 hours on site for this experience

What Can I Expect

Go big and slick on these HGV and Supercar driving experiences! We are offering vouchers for lorry drives combined with a three-mile Blast in the supercar of your choice at your pick of circuit between York and Oxfordshire.

Everyone fancies having a go in a lorry don’t they? Sitting in the cab high above all the other cars, getting a taste of tucking is what this part of your combination experience is all about.

You will be driving an HGV such as the 45 ft-long truck and trailer or the car transporter. Both are big, rugged rigs ready to pound those highways and byways - and yes, they are the actual lorries the experience operator uses for setting up track days at these Yorkshire and Oxfordshire locations.

You will love trucking around the specially laid-out track, complete with tricky slalom and the reversing challenge, for around 15 to 20-minutes (with no motorway jams in sight!).

The second part of your experience is all about the supercars. Take your pick from a fine line up of fancy motors and drive it around the Tockwith or Abingdon tarmac airfield circuit for either three miles.

All tuition is in-car and the instructor will be beside you in the front passenger seat throughout, assisting with calling out the braking points, where to accelerate and following that hallowed racing line.

  • HGV & Supercar experiences available weekdays and weekends (Please note - Abingdon, Oxfordshire only has weekend dates)
  • All dates and session times are subject to availability
  • Sessions operate between 08:30 and 15:30
  • This is a popular experience which may need to be be booked well in advance

Suitable For

  • Minimum age 16
  • Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
  • Minimum height 4ft 5ins
  • No driving licence is required

Spectators

  • Spectators are welcome to come and watch from the trackside

Anything Else

  • The vehicle used for this experience cannot be guaranteed. You will either be in a 45ft truck  with trailer or a car transporter added
  • All drivers on the day will have the option to pay a non-refundable £25 damage waiver which will cover them against any damage that may be caused to the vehicle(s) in the event of an incident
  • Drivers who do not wish to take this waiver will need to sign a disclaimer and will need to be able to cover the cost on the day for any damage to the vehicle up to a maximum amount of £5000. Credit card details will need to be provided with £5000 limit or above for this reason. Debit cards are accepted however please be aware a pre-authorisation applies to debit cards to check funds are available
  • Drive times are approximate and will vary depending on the drivers ability
