What Can I Expect

Fly over Scotland's largest city on a Glasgow helicopter ride! These fabulous sightseeing tours take off from farmland on the south side of the River Clyde and offer superb views of all the big landmarks of the city.

We are offering 15 and 30-minute helicopter rides over Glasgow. As the most populated city in Scotland and with a fine industrial heritage, there's lots to see on your trip. All flights take off from a farm estate at Johnstone, near Renfrew. From here, you track the River Clyde towards the beating heart of the city.

Many of the sights you'll see will be so familiar to you from the ground. But looking down on them from the air gives you such a different perspective on things. In fact, we reckon it's the best way to see Glasgow's grid system of city centre roads!

Your helicopter pilot will point out lots of the landmarks for you. See if you can spot the Braehead Shopping Centre and the BBC Media Centre. Look down on the shipyards, the Clydeside redevelopments and see just how big the SEC and neighbouring Hydro arena really are.

We highly recommend the extended 30-minute ride. It means you fly further and will see both Hampden and Ibrox, many of Dear Green Place's parklands and, our favourite, the Clyde Arc ‘squinty' bridge. You might also explore beyond Erskine Bridge into Dunbartonshire with its impressive castle.

Whether you're a native weegie, have moved to live in the Scottish city or just visiting, everyone should go on a Glasgow helicopter ride. Hop onboard and see the very best of this vibrant, culture-rich, warm and welcoming place. Book your seat in the chopper now!
