Thrilling forest rally rides in the heart of Scotland! Where better to get a taste of proper rallying as a passenger than at this loose gravel WRC-style rally stage in Dumfries & Galloway?

We absolutely love this ride experience. Just getting into the rally car is quite an adventure. We’re talking authentic, fully rally-prepped cars with roll cages, bucket seats and harnesses. Don’t expect any passenger comforts, this is genuine rallying!

These Scottish rally rides are usually operated in a Subaru WRX STi. You don’t need to be a rally expert to know that these gleaming Japanese beauties, beefed up by Pro Drive, had a hugely successful World Rally Championship career, with legendary drivers like Richard Burns, Colin McRae and Petter Solberg at the commands.

Your driver will be a current motorsport championship driver who knows just how to get the very best out of the fantastic, all wheel drive Scoobie. Normally, every driver has a co-pilot next to them in the passenger seat reading pace notes, but these drivers know this Dumfries track so well, you can just sit back and enjoy the ride!

Actually, when we say ‘sit back’, it’s more a case of being pushed back into that racing seat with eye-wateringly fast acceleration that makes those pine trees look like they are flying past. And the corners? You’ll be going round those sideways. And just wait for the straights. You’ll feel like you’re barely skimming the ground.

When Is It Available

• Selected Saturdays and Sundays between March and October
• Rides generally take place in the afternoons
• Participants must arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to the session

• Height restrictions: minimum 4ft 10ins, maximum 6ft 4ins
• Recommended maximum waist size 42ins (please enquire if outside of these restrictions)
• Suitable outdoor clothing should be worn, especially in winter months as the forest is exposed and conditions can change during the day
• Due to the remote location and outdoor forest setting, there are no specific disabled facilities
• Limited mobility is accommodated where possible but please enquire if you have specific requirements

Spectators

• A maximum of 2 spectators are permitted
• Due to the nature of this activity viewing is limited but there are a few places you can see the experience
• Please dress appropriate to the weather conditions on the day
• The venue is not designed to accommodate children, please enquire for further information on suitability and limitations

Anything Else

• This experience is excluded from additional discount codes and promotions
• There is an authentic service area to keep dry and toilet facilities
• Pets are not permitted on site
