What Can I Expect
Fantastic flight experiences for two - enjoy flying together then celebrating with bubbles; the perfect high-flying gift for couples! These shared flying dreams are available as 30-minute, four-seater lessons at a selection of airfields and aerodromes around the UK.
One of you will be sitting up front next to the expert pilot instructor, whilst the other will be in the rear seats as an observing passenger. Together, you’ll be welcomed by the flying school and as a duo you’ll be able to discuss the flight itinerary with your pilot.
Flight paths for these couples’ experiences will vary according to your take off location, but rest assured you’ll be wowed by the breathtaking ‘bird’s eye views’ of the towns, coast and countryside below, wherever it may be in the country!
What’s more, the front seat passenger will be invited to have a go at the controls. Let’s see if you can impress your partner with your aviator skills…
As for the planes used on these flight experiences for two, they will all be four seater aircraft. Flying schools tend to use modern trainer planes such as the Piper PA28 for these lessons, as they are easy to fly, solidly built and have plenty of room for all three of you.
Once landed and taxied back to the flying school, there's time for a couple of photos before the two of you head to the on-airport clubhouse or restaurant to crack open your bottle of bubbly - the ideal way to celebrate the day the two of you enjoyed a flight experience together.
