What Can I Expect

It's modern vs classic Mustang on this Eleanor vs Bullitt experience! You will drive both of these iconic cars for four or eight laps each at the Bovingdon Circuit in Hertfordshire.

Let's start with the vintage 1968 Ford ‘Bullitt' Mustang. This iconic motor adorned the covers of style magazines in the 60s and 70s and was, of course, Steve McQueen's getaway car of choice in that lovely dusky green colour. Riding 17” slick tyres, this Bullitt-styled Mustang has been tuned for racing - and it drives like a dream.

The ‘Eleanor' Shelby GT500 Mustang is one heck of a muscle car. It's so beefed up and imposing that you cannot fail to notice this car. This motor evokes the heyday of street and drag racing with its Shelby throwback name, but it's a very modern monster. The supercharged 4.6l, 500bhp V8 engine really does explain why it's Gone in 60 Seconds!

For these Eleanor vs Bullitt experiences, you will be at the wheel for four laps on the Blast and eight laps on the Thrill sessions. All drivers take part in a briefing, along with a four-lap instructor-driven passenger ride, so you can see the layout of the track from inside a car. One of these laps is at full throttle - don't say we didn't warn you!

Spectators

• Friends and family are welcome to come along and can participate in passenger hot laps  or driving laps,  for an additional charge payable on the day

Anything Else

• Glasses must be worn if needed
• Flat-soled shoes must be worn
• Helmets will be supplied
• Drivers will need to sign a form accepting risk and vehicle damage liability of up to £10,000+VAT.  Alternatively damage liability reduction is available to purchase on the day starting from £27
