What Can I Expect

This E-Type Jaguar driving experience takes place on the track at Knockhill, Scotland’s home of motorsport, making a fantastic location to take this iconic classic out for a spin on the smooth tarmac of this renowned professional race circuit.

When launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the E-Type sports car was an instant sensation and still is today. Those stylish, long, low lines were iconic of the times - a British design which perfectly reflected the optimism, glamour and dynamism of 1960s Britain.

Now it's your chance to drive the E Type at the circuit in Fife. To prepare you for your time in the Jag, you will drive a quartet of laps in the Alpine A110. A somewhat kindred spirit to the E-Type, this sleek-designed, modern sports car oozes panache and power!

After a break and time to watch the other drivers in your group, you will be out on the track for your second session in the hotseat. This time, you will be driving the wonderful E-Type for a divine six laps.

With encouragement from the instructor sitting alongside you, you will really start to progress and feel like you are flying round this famous Scottish race track in your Jaguar.

When Is It Available

• Weekday dates only throughout the year
• Sessions are offered at various start times

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17
• All drivers must hold a full UK or European driving licence and able to drive a manual car
• As long as you can drive a normal car there are no height or weight restrictions
• Drivers should dress for comfort and the outdoors - such as jeans and trainers

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome, no charge.
• There are good views of the track used for the Jaguar experience

Anything Else

• As a renowned race circuit Knockhill has very good facilities with toilets and refreshments on site during experience days
