What Can I Expect

Book a day for your Cornish sightseeing adventure and travel by foot, by boat and by helicopter! This fabulous day out to one of the prettiest parts of Cornwall will amaze and delight you.

St Ives is picture-postcard perfect. A fishing village since Medieval times, it is now one of Cornwall's most popular seaside resorts. There are four wonderful beaches (Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour and Portminster) with swathes of golden sand, rocky coves and excellent surfing too.

The old town, with its narrow cobbled streets is a delight. And there are all the little boutiques, cafes and restaurants you could ever dream of amongst the clusters of historic buildings they call ‘the warren'. Art is big here as well, with the imposing Tate St Ives gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum.

You will explore all of this and more in three different ways on this Cornish sightseeing adventure. The first way will be on foot, with a refreshing circular hike along the coastal path that will certainly blow the cobwebs away and give you stunning panoramic views too.

Then it's your chance to look back at St Ives from the perspective of the water on a boat trip. You can choose a pleasure trip or a self-drive motor boat hire and we highly recommend heading towards the Carracks, in particular Seal Island, which is home to Atlantic grey seals.

Having walked it and seen it from the water, it's time to see St Ives from the air on a short helicopter ride, with amazing views from the moment you take off, including the route you hiked earlier. This is easily the best way to see the interlaced little lanes of St Ives's old town, with far-reaching views out to the Celtic Sea too. Simply magical.

After all that excitement, you round off your day in Cornwall with a cream tea. And just remember, around these parts it's jam first!

These Cornish sightseeing adventures will run for a very limited time period at the end of July to mid August, so don't delay in booking.
