What Can I Expect
Our co-pilot helicopter adventure offer is EXCLUSIVE to Into The Blue! The perfect experience gift for Father’s Day, you’ll be giving Dad the best seat in the chopper for these flights available at over 50 helipads around the country.
Sitting up front right next to the pilot is what this experience is all about. You’re in prime position to watch what being a helicopter pilot involves, from engine start up and getting clearance to take off, to landing gently back on the ground.
You’ll also witness the fine art that is hovering. It’s all about control and coordination and it’s pretty amazing to observe how it’s done from that co-pilot seat up front in the helicopter.
And as co-pilot, you get the best viewpoint. From this top-notch vantage point, the glass cockpit offers an unbeatable 180-degree view of the local landscape.
Your 12-mile journey takes you to altitudes of around 1000ft, turning the world below into a living map of miniature houses and winding roads. With the pilot's commentary through the headset, you'll learn about the local landmarks and how these agile machines are handled.
As a lasting memento of your co-pilot experience, you will also receive a special aviation-themed keyring and the celebrations continue back on the ground with a £5 Wetherspoons beer token to enjoy a well-earned, post-flight drink.
Our special tip : buy the voucher for the ‘Co-pilot helicopter adventure experience with guest’ and one lucky person will be able to ride in the chopper with you, sitting behind the co-pilot seat!
