What Can I Expect

Drive a classic Ford Capri! This is your chance to go driving in the car that wowed us all when it launched in 1969. With that long bonnet and fast-back styling, this was the original European pony car!

You can't talk about the Ford Capri without feeling a little nostalgic. With adverts that told us this was ‘the car you'd always promised yourself' and a ‘genuine fastback that doesn't cost a fortune', Ford had hit the nail on the head. In terms of style, it was utterly groundbreaking.

Even today, a Capri really stands out amongst both classic and modern cars. As there are only around 2500 roadworthy ones left in the UK, they are becoming more sought after as they become increasingly rare. So it's no surprise that these Capri drives are selling like hot cakes!

You will be driving a 1972 Mark 1 Capri. In our humble opinion, this first series, which ran from its launch in 1969 to 1974, was the best. What's more, this particular Capri on these driving experiences is a little bit special…

Under that super long bonnet you'll find a whopping 4.6l V8 engine. The engine mod means this lovely British Capri goes XXL on performance. And of course, it's rear wheel drive, so be prepared for this Capri to go a tad tail-happy in the wet!

You have the choice of a three-mile blast or a six-mile thrill drive in the Capri. Experiences are available at a large range of circuits around the country, so this stunning Capri is bound to be coming to a track near you.

• Weekend upgrade are available (£25 upgrade payable direct when booking your date)
• Dates and session times are subject to availability at your chosen location

Suitable For

• Minimum age 17
• A Full UK Driving Licence is required
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum height 4ft 5ins
• This is not suitable is you have suffered from back, neck or knee problems

Spectators

• Spectators are welcome to come and watch

Anything Else

• All drivers on the day will have the option to pay a non-refundable £29 damage waiver which will cover them against any damage that may be caused to the vehicle(s) in the event of an incident
• Drivers who do not wish to take this waiver will need to sign a disclaimer and will need to be able to cover the cost on the day for any damage to the vehicle up to a maximum amount of £5000. Credit card details will need to be provided with £5000 limit or above for this reason. Debit cards are accepted however please be aware a pre-authorisation applies to debit cards to check funds are available
• Once you have booked your date with the supplier should you need to to cancel within 7 days of your booking, a charge of £29 per car to re-book will apply.  This also applies to cancellations due to Covid
• Cancellation cover is available at the time of booking your date for £20 which would cover any last minute cancellation
