What Can I Expect
Enjoy a delightful day out combining the nostalgia of a heritage steam railway with the charm of an award-winning English vineyard! This experience brings together scenic countryside views, delicious food and wine tasting in the beautiful Chiltern Hills.
Your day begins at Chinnor Station, where you’ll board the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway for a scenic 60-minute return journey through the stunning Chiltern countryside. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sights as you travel by heritage steam train to Princes Risborough and back.
After your railway adventure, you’ll make your own way to Chiltern Valley Vineyard , an award-winning English vineyard, winery and brewery nestled in the picturesque Chiltern countryside.
On arrival, you’ll enjoy a delicious light sharing-board lunch in a relaxed outdoor setting or beneath a covered stretch tent. You’ll then join a guided vineyard and winery tour lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, discovering more about the production process and how the vineyard creates its award-winning English wines.
The experience concludes with a tutored wine tasting, giving you the opportunity to sample a selection of award-winning wines while learning more about their flavours and characteristics. You’ll also receive an exclusive 10% discount on wines, ales and liqueurs purchased from the cellar shop, making it the perfect opportunity to take home a little taste of the Chilterns.
On selected days, you can even enjoy an additional 60-minute diesel train ride free of charge!
