What Can I Expect

Take your seat at the Chef's Table at Swinton Park for a superlative dining experience! We are offering a great-value five-course lunch or the sublime eight-course dinner, with the option of an overnight stay.

The professional kitchen in the converted stables is where your Chef's Table experience will take place. A small and intimate affair, there are bar stools at the granite worktop island for up to just 12 guests.

You'll be enjoying a frontline view, observing top chefs as they create delicious dishes in the kitchen, right in front of your eyes.

Things get off to the best start possible, with porters handing you a welcome drink as soon as you arrive. You'll then be guided into the Morning room, where there'll be time to mingle with your fellow guests over canapés.

Once settled in your seat at the exclusive Stables table, your chef hosts will introduce themselves and get started cooking up a storm in the open kitchen. Marvel at their cutting skills, admire their prepping prowess, wonder at the ease by which they whip up a dessert and generally pick up hints and tips for your everyday cooking.

As you'd expect from a chef's table experience, you'll be tasting several courses. You'll be taken on a veritable culinary journey of discovery, which takes in lots of seasonal produce grown and reared on the Swinton Park estate - and as sustainably as possible. And if you fancy wine to go with each course, the wine flight is payable locally.

If you want to make a weekend of it, make sure you go for our ‘Chef's table with overnight stay' voucher. After your sublime meal, you won't have far to go to find your comfy bed in one of the hotel's Knight rooms, overlooking the grounds. And of course, a full English breakfast will be served the next morning. And you'll have time to enjoy the hotel's spa facilities too.

• Dietaries - Able to accommodate Vegetarian/Pescetarian/No Shellfish requests and if guests are pregnant. Unfortunately Gluten free and Dairy free options are not possible
• Optional wine pairing available for £85 per person, payable when booking your date
