Champagne and canape reception on the stunning Morning Room

What Can I Expect

Take your seat at the chef's table at Swinton Park for a superlative dining experience! You'll be enjoying a frontline view when you observe top chefs as they go about creating delicious dishes in the kitchen, right in front of your eyes.

The professional kitchen in the converted stables is where your chef's table experience will take place. A small and intimate affair, there are bar stools at the granite worktop island for up to just 12 dinner guests. Throughout the evening, you'll be privy to the culinary magic that happens in a kitchen, courtesy of the hotel chefs.

Things get off to the best start possible, with porters handing you a glass of Champagne as soon as you arrive. You'll then be guided into the Morning room, where there'll be time to mingle with your fellow guests over canapés.

Once settled in your seat at the exclusive Stables table, your chef hosts will introduce themselves and get started cooking up a storm in the open kitchen. Marvel at their cutting skills, admire their prepping prowess, wonder at the ease by which they whip up a dessert and generally pick up hints and tips for your everyday cooking.

As you'd expect from a chef's table experience, you'll be tasting several courses. Five in fact. You'll be taken on a veritable culinary journey of discovery, which takes in lots of seasonal produce grown and reared on the Swinton Park estate - and as sustainably as possible. And if you fancy wine to go with each course, the wine flight is payable locally.
