What Can I Expect

Be a stadium flyer at Zip World in Cardiff! The Principality Stadium is your aerial playground for this most thrilling of zip lining experiences across the top of Wales’s iconic national stadium.

Zip World has taken the treetop activity of zip lining to the city with these excellent urban Stadium Flyer experiences that'll see you travelling at speeds of up to 27 mph along the 170 metre wire.

And did we say you’d be up at 60 metres above the ground? This is the highest-accessible point of the Principality Stadium and you’ll need a considerable amount of courage to even get there.

Over 200 steps on stairs and walkways will get you onto the roof canopy. From there, it’s another five flights of ship-style stairs (i.e. steep!) up the stadium spire to the crow’s nest. This is your zip line platform, perched at 60 metres up.

Harnessed up and ready to go, the zip captain will give the countdown. Three, two, one…release! Before you know it you’ve left the platform behind, your legs are dangling and you’re zipping over the stadium canopy from south to north.

If you can, in between your shrieks of delight/terror (delete as appropriate), have a look around you. If the roof’s open you’ll get a sneaky look inside the stadium, or perhaps it’s more the River Taff and Welsh coastline you’ll see.

After you’ve landed and been unhooked from the zip line, you can congratulate yourself on being a bonafide Cardiff stadium zip flyer!

• 1 participating adult 18 yrs+ is required for every 5 children under 18

• Maximum weight 130kg
• Due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit. Babes in arms are not permitted
• Participants must have a waist measurement of 120cm or less and an upper thigh measurement of 65cm or less
