What Can I Expect

Get your boarding pass for the Brooklands Concorde Experience! These packages include general entry to the incredible Brooklands Museum, as well as your special ticket to embark on a 35-minute guided tour of this record-breaking aircraft.

The Brooklands Concorde G-BBDG (known affectionately as ‘Delta Golf’) was built at Filton in Bristol. She first flew on the 13th February 1974 and made over 600 certification and testing flights. Although never flying commercially, she was the first ever aircraft to carry 100 passengers at Mach 2 - that’s twice the speed of sound.

Your Concorde tour begins as you gather under the wings of Delta Golf for a briefing, where the history of this beautiful aircraft will be explained to you. You will also get to see that iconic nose and the landing gear up close!

Taking the steps to board through the rear passenger door, you’ll see a small exhibition to learn all about Concorde before you head into the passenger cabin area, including genuine Concorde leather seats.

Once seated, you will be taken on a multi-sensory journey to get a feel of what flying in this ground-breaking aircraft would have been like, from the Captain’s announcement, to reaching Mach 2 speeds at a cruising altitude of 60,000 ft over the Atlantic.

As you disembark, you’ll get to have a look at the flight deck, a masterpiece of mid-20th century analogue engineering that shows the Concorde was just as amazing to fly as it was to fly in!

Of course, your Brooklands Concorde Experience includes access to the whole of the Brooklands Museum, allowing you to explore the home of British aviation and motorsport before and after visiting Concorde.

• Winter (November to Mid-March) Opening Hours 10:00-16:00 (excluding events & school holidays)
• Summer (Mid-March to October) Opening Hours 10:00-17:00 (including all event days and school holidays)

* Entry is not available on the following close out dates 24-26th December, additional dates may apply

• Please note: For technical/operational reasons entire attractions or facilities within Brooklands Museum may be unavailable, closed or removed at any time without prior notice
• Drinks, food, cake, snack and ice cream can be purchased from the onsite Café in the Clubhouse
• Picnics are welcome, with lots of tables and green areas
