What Can I Expect

Departing from Brighton City Airport at Shoreham, it'll be seaside sights from the word go. Even the main terminal building at Brighton is an Art Deco delight!

After take off, follow the River Adur to its estuary, guarded by Shoreham Lighthouse and Shoreham Redoubt. Then take a coastal flightpath to Brighton, getting a great view of the beaches as you go. Flying over the ruins of the West Pier and past the glistening i360, you'll realise you're right over the beating heart of Brighton.

See if you can spot the higgledy-piggledy little streets of The Lanes. Pick out the Royal Pavilion in all its ornate finery and look down on Victoria Gardens. And there's no missing the Palace Pier on these Brighton tours. And you'll love it when the helicopter swoops over those boardwalk bars and theme park rides, heading in the direction of the bustling marina.

The City Tour experience is around 15 minutes. If you want to fly further for longer, go for the Brighton extended tour, which lasts around 30 minutes and takes you over Brighton & Hove Albion’s stadium and the stunning South Downs too.

These Brighton helicopter tours are operated by a Robinson R44 chopper and you will be part of a small group of up to four. And remember, this is the brilliantly cosmopolitan Brighton, so make sure you bring your camera to snap all those sights and landmarks from the air!

• Photo ID and proof of address will be required on the day
• Flying activities have maximum weights (per seat) to ensure health and safety along with the comfort of fellow passenger
• You must enter passenger/participant weight at the time of booking an experience. If weight varies between the time of initial booking and date of flight experience it remains the responsibility of the customer to update their individual weight via their online account prior to flight
• All passengers will be weighed before flight and if disparity exists between weight disclosed and actual weight (within reason), the passenger may be illegible to fly

• Please note that the maximum weight limit for the Co Pilot Seat on a helicopter pleasure flight varies depending on aircraft and other operational considerations
• If as a party of one you weigh in excess of 15 stone, you may still be able to fly however you will need to purchase an additional seat. This seat will either have to remain unoccupied or can be occupied by an individual as long as the combined total as listed above is not exceeded
