What Can I Expect
Bounce, slide and explore at Bounce Below by Zip World in Llechwedd! A cross between a trampoline park and an underground adventure, this is a brilliant activity for all the family. As long as you’re at least one metre tall you can bounce below ground!
Your subterranean adventure starts with a safety briefing and getting kitted out in a helmet. You then walk through the tunnel (don’t worry, it’s all flat and there’s no ducking your head!) to the start of Bounce Below in a vast cavern.
The whole place is equipped with nets suspended at various heights for you to jump across and bounce along. There are six vast chambers to explore, each one with nets, with the addition of slides and spirals in a helter skelter style.
With cool lighting and funky music, it’s a fantastic place to play. And of course, Bounce Below is totally weatherproof. And in fact, the temperatures are a constant 6 to 8 degrees, making it the ideal all-year, rain-won’t-stop-play playground inside this famous Welsh slate mountain.
We have vouchers for one, two or four of you to visit Bounce Below at Zip World’s Llechwedd Quarry base and your underground sessions last around an hour, giving you plenty of time to go bouncing from cavern to cavern!

Suitable For
- A minimum height of 1m is required
- Due to the nature of this adventure, everyone must be able to walk and be physically fit
- Under 13s - 1 participating adult is required for every 7 children
- Ages 13-17 years - 1 spectating adult for every 7 children
- Participants must weigh no more than 130kg to take part
- Anyone with injuries or conditions such as weak ankles or knees should not take part
- Facial jewellery is not permitted on this adventure. You will be asked to remove it completely or tape it over, depending on its location, before taking part

- Warm clothing is required in wet and cold conditions
- T-shirt, shorts and jewellery are not recommended
