What Can I Expect
Record your song on your very own band studio day! Book in for an exclusive recording studio session near Bristol and have a full day rehearsing and recording with your band, to produce your one-track demo.
Located in a quiet corner of Kewstoke village on the edge of Weston-super-Mare, this studio is a great place for bands to hang out, be creative and spend time recording music. Headed up by Ken and Charlie Lintern, they've got a whole bundle of music industry skill and experience for you to tap into.
Ken is a professional musician, band leader, songwriter, session musician, producer, manager and promoter. He loves all types of music and has a wealth of experience. Charlie has been surrounded by music from an early age and has grown to be an accomplished musician and sound engineer in his own right. He might look young, but he's already got over 50 albums in the can!
For your day in the studio, the whole band (up to eight of you) will be invited to rehearse and record. Preparation is key to a successful recording session, so you'll need to be an existing band and have already chosen and rehearsed the song you want to record before your studio day. It could be your favourite cover, your own composition, acoustic or a full-on rock anthem - it's entirely up to you.
You'll be guided through the whole recording process, from laying down the vocal and live instrument tracks, to going into post-production for mixing and mastering. There are lots of comfy sofas around, so you'll be able to relax and watch as the in-house engineers do their stuff.
By the end of your band studio day, you'll be walking out with your mastered demo. It's a great stepping stone for musicians and you'll learn a lot about the recording process and the music industry as well. But overall, it's a fantastic opportunity to have some fun and record the track of your choice in a proper studio space.
