What Can I Expect
Axe throwing in Birmingham at the best basecamp in the West Midlands! These axe throwing sessions take place at a superb adventure park near Sutton Coldfield. They're great fun, safe and open to all ages from 11 years. What's not to love about axe throwing in Birmingham?
This adventure park centre is totally fab. It's really easy to get to (literally a minute off the A453/A446/A38 interchange), really well organised and boasts excellent facilities. Decked out a bit like an officer's mess, the basecamp really sets the scene. Your mission is to chuck a few axes, knives and the like into big hunks of tree trunks. Reckon you're up for it?
The axe throwing arena here in Birmingham is one of the best we've seen. It's a permanent set up, with cool street art as your backdrop and what can only be described as a wall of wood in front of you, including big slices of tree trunk for you to aim at. Distance depends on what you're chucking and all this will be explained by your teacher.
They will also show you how to stand, how to hold the weapon in your hand, how to pick it up and bring it up ready for you to release it to (hopefully) spin and land with a thud into the wood. It's actually not quite as easy as it looks, but everyone has great fun trying and everyone loves the axe throwing.
Something that sets this Birmingham centre apart is that you've got unlimited axes to throw. That means you can keep on going chucking your weapons within the limit of your one-hour slot. As for what you'll be lobbing, there's a good variety of arms, including hand hatchets, tomahawks, flying angels and knives.
For those who want more, we are also offering combo packages that give you axe throwing plus one or two of the other outdoor activities offered on site. Axe throwing at Birmingham's leading adventure park is a great choice for hens, stags, work groups and families alike. If you've ever wanted to chuck and axe, this is the place to do it!
