What Can I Expect

Calling all Audi Lovers - these R8 experiences are for you! Drive a hard-top R8 or a convertible version of this superlative sports car - or both. These power-packed sessions are available at tracks around the UK.

As soon as the Audi R8 launched in 2006 it was hailed as an iconic car. Never before had the German manufacturer produced such a fine modern supercar with such racing blood. Of course, there’s the Lamborghini influence, but the R8 has its own, very resolute character and we love it.

Someone else who loves the Audi R8 is Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. He gets to whizz around in rather fine R8s in all of the Iron Man movies coming out of Marvel Studios. Now it’s your chance to have a go.

We are offering vouchers for you to drive the two R8s on offer, or you can drive the car of your choosing. It’s tricky to pick between them, so the obvious solution is to buy the voucher where you get to drive the two!

Both cars boast impressive stats. Both have mid-mounted 5.2l, V10 engines. But somehow the Spyder convertible is slightly faster, with a top speed of an eye-watering 199mph, compared to the former’s high speed of 194mph.

Luckily then, that you have all wheel drive as standard, to help you control all that torque and power when you tackle the corners. You’ll need to have your wits about you to tame this much-loved German/Italian supercar.

• Drivers are insured but are liable for a £5000 excess which can be waivered for an additional charge of payable when booking your date (1-2 cars £25)
• Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their session start time for registration
• Various media options are available to purchase on the day
