What Can I Expect

Aim for bulls-eye with a session of archery in Norfolk! The fenlands offer a fantastic location for practising your aim, stance and arrow-drawing technique, with uninterrupted views and flat, steady terrain. Perfect for any aspiring archers out there.

The venue for your experience is a dedicated archery centre in West Norfolk, within easy reach of the likes of Kings Lynn, Ely, Thetford and March. In good weather all archery lessons take place outside, but if the rain arrives in Norfolk, there's a covered archery area too.

What makes this Norfolk venue notable is the fact that the head coach is involved with archery at a national level; Sean is an Archery GB County Coach, an Archery GB judge and mentor too. All the instructors are qualified Archery GB (the sport's governing body) coaches, so there's no group of people better suited to overseeing your arrow shooting success.

We are offering one, two or three-hour archery masterclasses in Norfolk. One hour lessons are for one person. The two hour sessions can be for one person, or give two of you an hour each. The three hour experiences can be shared by up to three archers.

During your shooting time you'll be using modern recurve and compound bows, as well as the more traditional longbow. All are easy for beginners to get to grips with and all offer something different for both budding archers and seasoned bow-and-arrow masters.

If your visit is your first time at an archery range, you'll find it's one of the best locations to bring you up to shooting speed. In no time at all you'll be hitting the target, although a bulls-eye might take a little more practice. In any case, be prepared for some near (and some not quite so near) misses.  If you find archery in Norfolk really strikes a chord, this location offers ongoing professional coaching for all abilities.
