What Can I Expect

Get ready for an exciting hour of up-close animal encounters with the Carnivore Combo Experience at Hoo Zoo and Dinosaur World, a family-friendly wildlife park near Telford in Shropshire.

During this thrilling experience, you'll meet four fascinating predator species, including skunks, foxes, snakes and servals, with the chance to interact with each under the guidance of an experienced animal keeper.

You'll begin by meeting one of the zoo's friendly skunks, with the opportunity to handle one of these distinctive animals. Next, you'll visit a group of Red or Corsac Foxes, where you can hand-feed them their favourite food, chicken. Gloves are provided for this unique feeding experience!

You'll then meet one of the zoo's slithery residents, usually a Royal Python, and have the opportunity to handle or stroke this fascinating reptile. Finally, you'll meet Duma or Zeus, one of the resident Servals, and have the chance to feed them through the safety of their enclosure fencing. If the servals aren't feeling hungry, you'll visit the zoo's Bobcat instead.

Led by expert animal keepers throughout, this experience offers a fantastic insight into the behaviour and care of these incredible animals, giving you the chance to get closer to some remarkable predators while learning more about their individual personalities and needs.

• All dates and times are subject to availability

Suitable For

• Minimum age 8
• There is no upper age limit
• Under 16's must be accompanied by a spectating adult, subject to admission fees

Anything Else

• Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their session start time for registration
• Normal admission to the centre applies for non-participants
• All animal interactions are subject to the animals' behaviour, welfare and willingness to participate. Specific handling and feeding opportunities cannot be guaranteed

What to Wear:

• Full-length trousers covering the ankles must be worn. Leggings and tights are not permitted
• Closed-toe and closed-heel footwear must be worn. Sandals and Crocs are not permitted
• Suitable clothing for the weather is essential, as the experience takes place outdoors
