What's Included

  • Drive two 500BHP American Big Rig Trucks
  • 1:1 tuition throughout from an experienced instructor

What Can I Expect

The Big Rig driving experience - double the horsepower and double the drive time when you get to drive both the Peterbilt AND the Kenworth American trucks for 20 minutes each!

The popularity of these American trucks is insane. Ever since Clive Shaw began his big rig adventure in 2011, his ever-expanding collection has wowed visitors at truck shows and country fayres around the UK.

Now this is your chance to drive not one, but two of Clive’s gleaming trucks, when the big rigs do their tour of venues.

The Peterbilt and Kenworth rigs are everything you’d imagine an American truck to be. We’re talking 500BHP+, the long, long nose that distinguishes these transatlantic trucks from their European counterparts - and lots of shiny chrome!

Just climbing aboard these big rigs is quite an experience, let alone actually driving them both! You will have a delicious 20 minutes behind that very big driving wheel on the Peterbilt and another glorious 20 minutes driving the equally impressive Kenworth.

In true trucker style, you will be carrying out manoeuvres and negotiating the special big rig circuit laid out for you. Oh and did we mention the gears? Yep, these behemoths of the highway are actually manual - and they have 18 gears!

Clearly, it’s going to be a lot of fun the day you get to drive two of the world’s most iconic big rigs on this brilliant double America truck driving day. And yes, Clive’s trucks are so famous they even have their own merchandise you can buy as a great memento of your fantastic big rig experience!

  • Participants must hold a full, valid driving licence
  • Minimum height 5ft
  • Maximum height 6ft 6ins
  • Maximum weight 19 stone
  • Drivers must be able bodied and any medical conditions that may affect driving ability must be disclosed at the time of booking

Spectators

  • Spectators are welcome to come and watch at all venues for no additional charge
  • Disabled access may vary depending on location
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • Pets are not permitted at any circuit
  • Toilets, viewing areas and refreshments are available at all venues

Anything Else

  • Specific vehicle availability may be subject to change due to mechanical or operational factors
  • In cases of extreme weather i.e snow, fog or ice experiences may be re-scheduled for safety reasons
  • Comfortable shoes with thin soles are recommended
