What Can I Expect

Be sentenced to a spell in the Alcotraz Cocktail Bar! This is a theatrical, immersive experience like no other. You and your fellow inmates will be in the bar behind bars for a laughter-filled cocktail session in this unique speakeasy.

So, here's the story. The USA's most wanted liquor smuggler, Clyde Cassidy, has finally been caught and thrown into jail. But will the small matter of being locked in a metal cell stop this criminal's bootlegging activities? No chance.

Despite the fierce warden on patrol, Alcotraz is full of prison guards on the take, who can be fairly easily bribed to bring in the booze. And with a whole new cohort of prisoners (that's you!) arriving, there's plenty of opportunity for alcohol to be smuggled in…

In case you're wondering how you'll know who everyone is, let us give you the rundown: The warden is the scary one with the booming voice. Clyde is the shifty looking one. And you lot are all the naughty ones dressed in those fetching orange Alcotraz Penitentiary jumpsuits...

If you're successful in stuffing your pockets with liquor or bribing the dodgy guards, you'll have enough alcohol for the talented cocktail makers to work wonders in the prison bar. So no need to even bother trying to escape, just stay in jail and enjoy your drinks!

After an hour or so of banter, cocktails and mischief, you'll be let out on parole. If this is your first offence, you'd better watch out, as there are Alcotraz Cocktail bars in London, Manchester, Liverpool and Brighton, so you could get sent down again!

• Dates and session times are subject to availability
• Due to popularity it is recommended you book well in advance to avoid disappointment
• Session start times at the various locations are as follows:

• Please bring base spirits such as Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila or Whisky (a 35cl bottle of spirit per two inmates or 70cl bottle per four is the easiest to get past The Warden)
• Alcotraz operates a closed bottle policy meaning and will not accept any bottles previously opened. Please only bring new, unopened and sealed bottles
